Becoming a buddhist or joining our order

When one chooses to become a Buddhist, it means embracing the teachings of the Buddha and following the path to enlightenment. This involves cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, as well as observing ethical principles such as non-violence and honesty. The path of being a Buddhist also involves taking refuge in the Three Jewels - the Buddha, the Dharma (his teachings), and the Sangha (the community of practitioners).

Ultimately, becoming a Buddhist means committing to a spiritual journey towards liberation from suffering and the realisation of true peace and happiness for others and yourself.
